On the afternoon of 31 August 2021, Ningbo Haider held “Shenshi Tea” tasting activities, aimed at spreading Chinese tea culture.
Ningbo Haider is dedicated to promoting traditional Chinese tea culture, creating a theme of “tea and life”, combining tea tasting with work and life, allowing employees to build humanistic character and improve cultural connotation in tea tasting.
Shenshi Tea refers to the practice of “sitting upright” between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., using abdominal breathing method, and drinking 7 cups of tea in about 40 minutes, with the amount of tea about 500ml.
The tea ceremony was explained by the host teacher. The tea culture is vast and profound, and this time we will focus on three aspects of tea rituals: rituals, dress and grooming.
The “Salutation” section introduces the details of body posture, angle and hand placement when performing the salutation, together with real-life demonstrations; the “Dress” section talks about the “Functions of Clothing”, “Principles of Dress” and “Wearing the Dress”. The “Dress” section talks about the “Functions of Clothing”, “Principles of Dress” and “The Realm of Dress”; the “Grooming” section explains the requirements and ways of training grooming.
